Terms of Service
Last updated: September 13, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the website and application at lazymeal.art (the "Service"), provided by Lazy Meal ("Lazy Meal", "we", "us"), established in Belgium. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Lazy Meal is a meal-planning and shopping-list tool. Core planning features are available without an account. Creating an account additionally synchronizes your meal plan, shopping list, and favorites across devices and enables sharing a plan with a household.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract; where local law requires parental consent for minors, such consent must be obtained before use.
3. Households
Meal plans, shopping lists, and membership of a household created or joined via an invite code are visible to all members of that household. Invite codes should only be shared with intended recipients.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or abusive; (b) attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure; or (c) impersonate another person or misuse another account or invite code.
5. User content
By submitting a recipe, review, or feedback, you represent that you hold the necessary rights to do so and grant Lazy Meal a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, adapt, and publish that content within the Service.
6. No dietary or medical advice
Recipes and nutritional information are provided for general informational purposes and do not constitute medical, dietary, or allergen advice. Users are solely responsible for verifying ingredients against their own dietary requirements, allergies, and restrictions.
7. Availability
The Service is provided free of charge, on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting adrien@lazymeal.art. Lazy Meal may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lazy Meal disclaims all warranties and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including any outcome related to recipes prepared using it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence. Disputes shall first be raised with adrien@lazymeal.art for informal resolution; failing resolution, the courts of Belgium shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction as a consumer.
11. Changes
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates the version currently in effect. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
