About this dish
A beef burger with crisp bacon and a quick guacamole of avocado mashed with chili powder. Guacamole comes from Mexico, from the Nahuatl words for avocado and sauce. Here it is only avocado mashed with chili powder, so adding lime juice and salt is worth doing.
Ingredients
Preparation
Prepare the guacamole. In a bowl, add the avocado and the chili powder. Mash with a fork.
In a very hot pan, add the bacon strips and cook for 2 minutes on each side over high heat, until almost crispy. Set aside on a paper towel.
In the same pan, add the beef patties. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side over medium heat.
Meanwhile, heat a drizzle of olive oil in a second pan over medium heat. Toast the burger buns for 1 to 2 minutes, with the cut faces against the pan, until golden.
Fill the burger buns by spreading them with guacamole. Add the lettuce, then the patty and the bacon slices. Close the burger and enjoy right away. It's ready!
