About this dish
Gluten-free spaghetti with cooked shrimp in a garlic and cream sauce with chili flakes and parsley. Gluten-free pasta can overcook quickly and turn sticky, so check it a minute or two before the packet time. Because the shrimp are already cooked, they only need warming through in the sauce.
Ingredients
Preparation
If needed, thaw the shrimp, then peel them.
In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. At the end of cooking, reserve a small ladle of the cooking water, then drain the pasta.
Meanwhile, heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the grated garlic, shrimp and chili flakes. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring.
Add the drained pasta to the pan with the reserved cooking water, the cream and the chopped parsley. Mix and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes.
Serve the garlic shrimp spaghetti on a plate with a drizzle of olive oil. Adjust the seasoning to taste, it's ready!
Tips
For a real treat, we recommend adding smoked paprika and cherry or sun-dried tomatoes.
