About this dish
Linguine with cooked shrimp in a tomato and basil sauce with garlic and chili flakes. The shrimp are already cooked, so they only need to warm through in the sauce; heated longer, they turn rubbery. Chili flakes give a gentle heat that suits tomato and seafood.
Ingredients
Preparation
If needed, thaw the shrimp, then peel them.
In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta at the end of cooking.
Meanwhile, heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the grated garlic, shrimp and chili flakes. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring.
Add the drained pasta to the pan with the tomato sauce. Mix and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes.
Serve the shrimp linguine in a deep plate. Add a few basil leaves if you have some. Adjust the seasoning to taste, it's ready!
