About this dish
Strips of chicken breast, bell pepper and onion seared in a hot pan with fajita spice mix and served in tortillas with lime. Fajitas are a Tex-Mex dish that began with grilled skirt steak, and faja is Spanish for belt or strip; chicken is a later, everyday variation. A very hot pan gives the vegetables some browning before they soften.
