About this dish
Pan-cooked chicken breast with frozen carrot purée, frozen peas and tartar sauce. Both vegetables come from the freezer and cook in minutes, and tartar sauce is an unexpected but effective partner for chicken, sharp against the sweet carrot.
Ingredients
Preparation
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chicken. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, over medium heat, until golden.
Meanwhile, in a pot, warm the carrot purée according to the package instructions. Season to taste, for example with cumin or paprika.
Meanwhile, add the peas to a bowl. Bring water to a boil in a pot or kettle and pour it over the peas. Let sit for 3 minutes before draining.
Serve the carrot purée on a plate with the peas, chicken and tartar sauce. Adjust the seasoning to taste, it's ready!
Tips
For an extra indulgent touch, we recommend making your own homemade carrot purée.
