About this dish
A ramen bowl of noodles in miso and soy broth, topped with pork belly or chicken, a soft-boiled egg, nori and spring onions. In ramen shops the broth simmers for many hours; here it starts from ready-made broth, which is what makes a 30-minute bowl possible. A soft-boiled egg takes about 6 to 7 minutes, so time it while the broth heats.
Ingredients
Preparation
Cook the pork belly or chicken until tender (simmered or pan-fried), then slice.
Bring the broth to a simmer and whisk in the miso paste and soy sauce.
Cook the ramen noodles separately according to packet instructions, then drain.
Divide the noodles between bowls and ladle over the hot broth.
Top each bowl with sliced meat, a halved soft-boiled egg, a sheet of nori, and sliced spring onions.
